Holy Muther(s)!

Paying homage to the Met Gala’s recent flirtation with Catholic imagery, along with some Benin sculptures, two amazing black women, some thought provoking text, Tudor paintings, religious symbolism, smartphones and very peaceful weed smoking nuns. A focal point is the image of mary with the swords in her heart (Our lady of sorrows) which I think is a strange, stunning image.
