I’m a freelance journalist, artist and PUBLICIST.

I started writing and creating art consistently in 2018.

Here’s a rundown of some of my achievements:

- I have blogged on this site, from long-form articles, to book reviews, to first person pieces.


- In October 2018 I was commissioned by the Tate to create a collage celebrating Black History Month, featuring on the Tate Collective instagram page. Three years later in October 2021 I was commissioned again by the tate, this time to create a collage and instagram reel for black history month.


- I joined The Tab Edinburgh & UK digital journalism team as a contributing writer in July 2019. From 2019 to April 2021 I worked in a dynamic team of young writers who are enthusiastic about student journalism. We built and published our content using Wordpress and I often created graphics and visuals to complement all my articles.


- Gained copywriting experience, promptly transcribing an interview with a fashion stylist.


- Written for industry-leading publications including Cosmopolitan UK, Gal-Dem and Meeting of Minds on a freelance basis.


- Created a surrealism inspired collage which was published on instagram and exhibited at Tate Modern on January 31st at a Tate Late.


- I was commissioned by Tinder to create an animated collage video for their Couples Series on Instagram to illustrate a story.


- For the women focused charity YWCA Scotland I hosted a live workshop on creativity and collages.


- Commissioned by brands (including Tinder) and individuals to create content and visual identities using collage.


- In June 2020 I started volunteering at think tank affiliate CERT Scotland, as a content creator. Lasting eight months, my role entailed creating collages and blog posts about reproductive justice.


- In February 2020, I was commissioned by Glasgow Film Festival to create promotional art for the ‘Welcome To’ strand, curated by Tomiwa Folorunso and Natasha Ruwona.


- In July 2021, my Maya Angelou themed collage book won a purchase award from the Kanyer Art Collection based in Washington, U.S.A.


- In August 2021 I was shortlisted for the IPSE young freelancer award category of their annual IPSE Freelancer Awards.


- My collages were selected to be part of a digital exhibition with the theme ‘All Bound Together’ by the Shape Arts Open, of which Yinka Shonibare is the patron. The exhibition was curated by Elinor Hayes, beginning on August 2nd 2021, and ending on October 29th 2021.

-I designed a Shape Arts x Everpress clothing collection of limited-edition t-shirts and hoodies.

-In terms oF PUBLIC RELATIONS EXPERIENCE, I completed aN internship as an account executive intern at aspectus Group , have worked as a Trainee at MIDAS PR. I ALSO WORKED AT CITY ROAD COMMUNICATIONS AS A COMMUNICATIONS EXECUTIVE And at ThE ICONIC ARTIST-LED Gallery, Serpentine, AS PRESS OFFICER. Most recently I worked as an account EXECUTIVE AT MSL (PuBLICIS GROUPE) on a range of consumer accounts FROM TECH, to beauty and travel PR.

- My collages are featured in Black Collagists, a book written by curator Teri Henderson (available on Amazon)

-FOR the museum/LIbrary, WELLCOME COLLECTION, I CREATED A COLLAGE INSPIRED BY THE CLASSICAL WORLD.

- I OFTEN FACILITATE COLLAGE WORKSHOPS In a WIDE VARIETY OF INSTITUTIONS AND SPACES. I HAVE delivered WORKSHOPS AT THE BARBICAn CENTRE for a member’s LATE EVENT, AT Tate modern for kusama in america access hours, at lse student union, for YWCA Scotland and more.

I AM a writer and collage artist highlighting stories that are less heard.

I AM invested in humanity, the histories that led to our present, and imagining better futures.
